Non-Profit Colorado Dog Rescue
Brighter Days Dog Rescue
We are a Boulder, Colorado-based non-profit organization rescuing dogs who are sick, abused, neglected, or in danger of euthanasia.
Adopt A dog
By adopting from Brighter Days Dog Rescue you are truly saving a dog’s life.
At BDDR we work to find you the perfect match. When you complete our adoption application you are giving us the tools we need to make a lasting connection.
Help us rescue more dogs
Though adoption fees go a long way, we rely 100% on donations and assistance from our sponsors. Any donation, big or small goes directly to saving a life.
The more funding we have, the more pups we can help. Thank you for your support!
Your Best Friend Is Waiting
Rescued is our favorite breed.
We believe in long walks, endless kisses, and second chances.
What Drives Us
Our Mission
Our modern-day heroes don’t wear capes. Instead, they wear slobber and fur. At BDDR, we receive emails about dogs in urgent situations from volunteers all over the U.S. Sometimes these precious pups are just hours away from being euthanized, so, like canine crusaders, we do everything in our power to take these dogs from death row and unite them with the families they were meant to be with.
From personality to pedigree, we make it our mission to help our adopters and canines find their perfect match. When you complete our adoption application you are giving us the tools we need to make a lasting connection.

Become a Foster
Maybe rescuing one dog won’t change the world. But surely, for that one dog, the world will never be the same. Learn more about becoming a foster today!

Become a Volunteer
There are many ways to become involved with BDDR other than fostering. We frequently have needs for dog transporters (driving dogs to and from locations) as well as event volunteers.

Happily Ever After

Meet Milo Cyrus!
“I just wanted to reach out and show you how well Milo is doing- he’s taken on the name Milo Cyrus and loves naps and slobbering people with kisses. This one thinks he’s a lap dog and plays daily with his big cat sister. So thankful I got this little one 2 years ago. You’re doing great things there!”
